पहले चित्र में जय प्रकाश को गिफ्ट देते विजय कुमार |दूसरे चित्र में रामलाल कठपुतली बनाते हुए , समग्र टीम रामलाल के गांव में जाकर एक स्कूल में बच्चों से बातचीत की व रामलाल जी से भी मिले |तीसरे चित्र में क्रिसमस की तैयारी करते बच्चे | तथा चौथे चित्र में आर्य समाज के स्कूल में ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी का एक दृश्य | पांचवे चित्र में कम्प्यूटर क्लास के बच्चे जय प्रकाश के साथ , जय प्रकाश समग्र में लगभग पांच महीने अपनी सेवायें दी , जय प्रकाश समग्र टीम के साथ स्कूल में स्पीच थिरेपी सेशन व गांव विजिट इसके अलावा वन टू वन परामर्श तथा समग्र बेबसाईट पर व समग्र ब्लॉग पर भी काफी सेवाए दी | छठे चित्र में जय प्रकाश की विदाई के उपलक्ष में एक साथ सभी डीनर पर ,(श्रीमती सुचित्रा अग्रवाल , श्री पियुष, सुयष तथा जयप्रकाश |

गांव विजिट

दिनांक १७ दिसंबर को समग्र टीम (विजय ,अनिल, दीपक )पिताम्बरपुर, देहरादून गांव में जाकर समग्र के बारे में जानकारी दी | पिताम्बरपुर गांव में एक प्राथमिक स्कूल था , जिसमे पिताम्बरपुर गांव के सभी बच्चे पढ़ते है | इस स्कूल के प्रधानाध्यापक से बात कर समग्र टीम ने स्कूल में पढ़ रहे बच्चे की जांच की जिसमे से दो येसे बच्चे मिले जिनको सुनने में समस्या थी ,स्कूल की मैडम का कहना था कि , ये बच्चे बहुत कम बोल पाते है , समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट विजय ने बच्चे को हियरिंग एड लगाकर बात की तो मैडम काफी हैरान थी कि यह तो काफी अच्छा बोल रहा है | और मैडम ने चार येसे बच्चे का नाम बताया जो बच्चे हकलाते थे , इन हकलाने वाले बच्चे के बारे में स्कूल के मैडम का कहना था कि इनकी जुबान नीचे से सटी है, जिसकी वजय से बच्चा हकलाता है , जबकि यह गलत धारणा है, जुबान के सटे होने से हकलाने का कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं है | विजय ने स्कूल के मैडम को बताया कि हकलाना एक अलग प्रकार की समस्या है | इसके अलावा के.के.एम्.कालोनी के उप सेंटर पर विजय जाकर तीन लोंगो के कान की जांच की |

कंप्यूटर क्लास और हियरिंग एड

चित्र एक में बच्चों को कंप्यूटर के बारे में बताती सीमा, सीमा पिछले एक सप्ताह से इन बच्चों को कंप्यूटर सिखा रही है | समग्र में ये बच्चे सप्ताह में ६ दिन कंप्यूटर सीखने के लिए आते है | इस कम्पूटर कोर्स की अवधि तीन महीने की है , जिसमे से एक एक महीना पूरा हो गया है | दोसरे चित्र में दीपक एक बच्चे को पढ़ा रहें है , दीपक उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणासी के है ,दीपक विशेष शिक्षा में दो वर्ष का डिप्लोमा ( मानसिक मंदता में ) किए है, तथा समग्र में लगभग दो महीने के लिए आए है |चित्र तीन में के .के .एम.कालोनी के लोंगो के लिए हियरिंग एड , विजय समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट ने के. के.एम.कालोनी में जाकर लोंगो का हियरिंग चेक कर जिनको हियरिंग एड की जरूरत थी , उनका दो पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो व राशन कार्ड की फोटो कापी जमा कराकर एन.आई.वी.एच.से पारित कराया |

समग्र समाचार

रिया (काल्पनिक नाम) अपनी मम्मी के साथ स्पीच थिरेपी सेशन में | रिया अभी ५ वर्ष की है , तथा रिया का घर कुल्हाल , पोंटा (हिमांचल प्रदेश ) में है | रिया को पिछले ४ महीने से अचानक सुनने की समस्या आ गयी है , रिया की स्पीच नार्मल है , लेकिन कुछ दिन पहले से रिया बोलना बंद कर दी , तब रिया के माता पिता समग्र में स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए लेकर आए | समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट विजय ने बताया की रिया को अब हियरिंग एड की जरूरत है |इसके अलावा आयुष स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए आया समग्र में| तथा अवनीश को स्पेशल स्कूलिंग दिया गया | और प्राथमिक स्कूल कावंली में टीचर के साथ चर्चा व बच्चों के साथ ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी किया गया |

स्पीच थिरेपी

चित्र एक में श्री रमेश चन्द सक्सेना (उम्र ५२ वर्ष ) को वोकल एक्सरसाइज कराते हुए विजय , रमेश जी को अभी हाल में ही दौरा पड़ने के कारण वोकल कार्ड पैरालाईस हो गया है , रमेश जी की मेडिसीन चल रही है , जोलीग्रांट होस्पीटल के डाक्टर ने स्पीच थिरेपी कराने को कहा ताकि वोकल कार्ड नार्मल हो जाए |चित्र दो में आयुष को स्पीच थिरेपी
कराते हुए विजय | आयुष दून गर्ल्स स्कूल में पढ़ता है तथा आयुष को बोलने में रूकावट होती है | आयुष पिछले एक हप्ते से समग्र में स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए आ रहा है |चित्र तीन में मनीष (काल्पनिक नाम ) अपनी मम्मी के साथ ,मनीष की मम्मी ने बताया की मेरा बेटा अभी ठीक से बोल नही पाता , समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट विजय ने मनीष की मम्मी को परामर्श दिया |चित्र चार में आयुष कनाडा के बोर्ड के साथ | चित्र चार में जय प्रकाश (समग्र वालेंटियर ) बच्चों को इन्टरनेट के बारे बताते हुए |

ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी

आर्य समाज स्कूल में जय प्रकाश पहले चित्र में बच्चों के साथ ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी करते हुए | दूसरे चित्र में सफ़ेद सर्ट में एक बालक जो हियरिंग एड लगा रखा है | इस बच्चे को सुनने की समस्या थी , विजय ने इस बच्चे का हियरिंग जांच कर सुनने वाली मशीन जब लगाए तो बच्चा बहुत खुश हुआ , अब यह बच्चा हियरिंग एड की सहायता से आसानी से सून सकता है , पर हियरिंग एड लगाने के बाद स्पीच थिरेपी देना बहुत जरूरी होता है , इसलिए समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट विजय इस स्कूल में हप्ते में एक बार जाकर इस बच्चे के साथ तथा अन्य हकलाने वाले बच्चों को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया करेंगे |

The beginning!

Our first SHG meet in Dehradun on 28th November 2009 was attended by Satpal, Praveen, Vijay and JP. After a round of introductions, we discussed the causes and cures for stammering..Both Satpal and Praveen agreed that it is the variability which makes matter worse. Praveen also made an astonishing revelation that he used to carry a pen and paper to every interview and has always given his interview in written. Then we practiced prolongation and bouncing. We dispersed after watching a video clip from Hrithik's interview on star plus.

स्पीच सपोर्ट ग्रुप का एक सीन चित्र एक में व दूसरे चित्र में विजय हियरिंग ट्रायल करते , तथा तीसरे चित्र में अनिल जी सेवा करते हुए |

स्पीच थिरेपी और स्कूल विजिट

आज विजय प्राथमिक स्कूल (कांवली , देहरादून) में गए व लगभग २२५ बच्चों का स्पीच स्क्रीनिंग किये जिसमे से लगभग १८ बच्चे मिले जिन्हें बोलने में कभी-कभी रूकावट होती है | स्पीच स्क्रीनिंग के बाद विजय ने स्कूल की प्रधानाध्यापक से बच्चों के साथ ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी की बात की |स्कूल की प्रधानाध्यापक ने बच्चों के साथ स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए सप्ताह में एक बार आने को कहा है | अब समग्र टीम स्कूल में बच्चों के साथ काम करने के लिए सप्ताह में एक बार स्कूल में जाया करेगी |चित्र एक , दो व् तीन में समग्र में आये बच्चे स्पीच थिरेपी का अभ्यास करते हुए |

स्कूल विजीट

शहीद विवेक गुप्ता प्राथमिक स्कूल में ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी करवाते विजय| आज हरवंश वाला गांव में विजय गए व् समग्र के एक्टिविटीज के बारे में गांव वालो को बताये , तथा गांव में चार लोंगो का हियरिंग जांच भी विजय ने किया | इसके अलावा देवांशु (१६ वर्ष हकलाहट व् तुतलाहट के साथ मानसिक मंद ) तथा पारस (२२ वर्ष हकलाहट ) को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया गया |

कंप्यूटर क्लास और ध्यान ..

पहले चित्र में कंप्यूटर क्लास ख़त्म होने के बाद ध्यान करते बच्चे व् दूसरे चित्र में जय प्रकाश (समग्र वालेंटियर )बच्चों को कंप्यूटर सिखाते हुए | इसके अलावा आज दून बालिका स्कूल में हकलाने वाले बच्चों को साथ ग्रुप स्पीच थिरेपी दिया गया | तथा , के.के.एम्.कालोनी (लिप्रोसी कालोनी ) के लगभग १७ लोंगो के कान की जांच विजय ने किया , जिसमें से चार लोंगो को हियरिंग एड की जरूरत है , अब इसके बाद जिन्हें हियरिंग एड की जरूरत है , उनके लिए विजय एन.आई.वी .एच.से हियरिंग एड पारित कराने की कोशिश करेंगे |

"Sir, you speak like me"

Me and the kids are really enjoying the computer classes and So are Vijay, Parmanand and Anil :-)

Today, we also went to a school for screening of young boys, looking for any child with any kind of speech impediment especially stammering..As the boys were introducing themselves, I saw a young boy struggling with his speech and when it was my & Parmanand's turn to introduce ourselves, we bounced a bit. I could see a hint of smile on his face after our introductions..Soon after the introductions as we get prepared to play a game, the same young boy surprised me. He came up to me and said in very sweet and innocent voice - "Sir, you speak like me"..

After this we played a lot of games and I could see that the child who was holding himself back a bit, at the start of the session, suddenly changed gear and was enjoying with other kids....This incident reminds me of what once Sachin had said in response to a question being put to him by Pune SHG- "How can we help school kids ? ". Sachin's reply was - even if you go to school and spend some time with kids who stammer and just listen to them, play with them, it will help them and today I saw it..We didn't do any therapy...Just Me and Paramanand stammering openly in front of his class gave him a hint that stammering is fine...

Also there was another surprise from one of his classmates - "Sir why do some people speak this way ?" . My reply was - "As some people are fat, some are thin, Some are tall and some are small , there is also a variation in the way people speak, so some people stammer and some don't".
I hope I am able to convey my message to fellow PWS (People Who Stammer) that please go out, talk to young people who stammer, go to schools and give a presentation to the whole school about s-s-stammering...U don't realize that how you can change the life of a young boy/girl in a positive way..Anyone game for it?

Computer classes for kids

Today, we inaugrated computer classes for childeren from weak socio-economic background. We also took this opportunity to create awareness about the work we are doing by inviting some people from the community. Suchitra ji and Dr. Sachin started the function by giving a brief presentation about Samagra. Next we showed the audience a short video clip on stammering. Then Romy a young lad from Mumbai who has come for 3 weeks for speech therapy, shared his experiences about how stammering has affected his life.Then I (J.P.) showed our website and blog to the audience. We concluded with informal conversation and discussion with audience over a round of snacks.

रेखा

समग्र में रेखा ( मोहित नगर , देहरादून ) के कान की सुनाई की जांच करते विजय | रेखा को जन्म से ही सुनने की समस्या है |रेखा की मम्मी ने बताया की रेखा के साथ एक और बच्चा (जुड़वा ) हुआ था , पर अब वह नही है | रेखा की मम्मी ने यह भी बताया की जब रेखा नव महीने की थी तब हमें पता चला की रेखा को सुनाई नही देता है | रेखा के माता पिता रेखा के विकलांगता सर्टिफिकेट बनवाना चाहते है, ताकि रेखा को पेंशन मिल सके | विकलांगता सर्टिफिकेट बनवाने के लिए विजय ने रेखा की मम्मी को बताया |

स्पीच थिरेपी

आज समग्र में इसफाक को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया गया | इसफाक के उम्र १३ वर्ष है व् इसफाक पिछले चार वर्ष से साफ़ नही बोल पाता (तुतलाता है ) इसफाक ने कहा कि अब मै स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए समग्र में आयेगा |चित्र में डिम्पी अपनी मम्मी के साथ स्पीच थिरेपी शेसन में |तथा दूसरे चित्र में कोर्स समाप्त होने के बाद सर्टिफिकेट (बेसिक कम्प्यूटर व् सिलाई कोर्स ) वितरित किया जा रहा है |

Tailoring and Computer Classes

A three month tailoring course and computer course for women from economically weaker and backward section of the society concluded yesterday at Premnagar, Dehradun. We would like to thank everyone associated with both the programs for participating enthusiatically. Everybody at Samagra wishes all the participants best of luck for their future and would like to help them in future too in everyway we can.

आज हम लोग (विजय कुमार और जय प्रकाश ) एल.डी.नर्सरी पब्लिक स्कूल में गए व् प्रिंसिपल मैडम से हकलाने के बारे में व् अन्य स्पीच की समस्यायों के बारे में बात-चीत की | स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल मैडम ने कहा कि आप लोग एक दिन आइये व् हमारे जितने भी टीचर है, उनको हकलाने के बारे में जागरूक करें ताकि हमारे टीचर भी हकलाने वाले बच्चों व् वयस्कों की सहायता कर सकें | कल मै (विजय कुमार ) व् जय प्रकाश इस स्कूल में जायेंगे हकलाने के बारे में प्रजेंटेसन देने |

स्कूल विजिट

आज समग्र आश्रम की टीम द्वारा (जय प्रकाश व् विजय कुमार ) मोहित नगर में श्री गुरू राम राय के दो स्कूलों में विजिट किया गया | पहला स्कूल बारहवीं कक्षा तक था , इस स्कूल में समग्र वालेन्टीयर जय प्रकाश ने स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल से हकलाने वाले बच्चो के बारे में बात की व् हकलाने वाले बच्चे के समस्या के बारे में बताया |स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल ने बताया की अभी हमारे स्कूल में उत्सव हो रहा है , उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि हमारे स्कूल में कुछ बच्चे है जो कि रूक- रूक कर बोलते है | प्रिंसिपल ने कहा कि १५ नवम्बर के बाद आप लोग आ सकते है उन बच्चों का स्क्रीनिंग करने के लिए जो कि हकलाते है |इसके बाद हम लोग गुरू राम राय के दूसरे स्कूल में गए जहां कक्षा एक से पांचवी तक का स्कूल था , इस स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल ने बताया की अभी हमारे स्कूल में उत्सव चल रहा है ,१५ नवम्बर के बाद आप संपर्क करिएगा (छोटे बच्चों के स्कूल का एक फोटो , उत्सव की तैयारी करते बच्चे व् निर्देश देती शिक्षिका )|इसके अलावा शाम के समय आश्रम में अवनीश (१४ वर्ष बाडर लाइन मानसिक मंद ) को पढाया गया | तथा डिम्पी (डिले स्पीच के साथ सेरेबरल पाल्सी )को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया गया |

डाक्टर क्षितिज

आज समग्र आश्रम में डाक्टर क्षितिज आए | डाक्टर क्षितिज टीसा के मेंबर है व् दिल्ली के स्पीच सपोर्ट ग्रुप मीटिंग में जाते है | डाक्टर क्षितिज देहरादून गुरु राम मेडिकल कालेज में इन्टरव्यू देने आए थे | इन्टरव्यू देने के बाद समग्र में आए व् जय प्रकाश , विजय व् अनिल जी से मिले | डाक्टर क्षितिज ने कहा कि हम फ़िर दुबारा समग्र आश्रम में आयेंगे और स्कूल में बच्चों के साथ काम करने चलेंगे समग्र टीम के साथ |

डिम्पी

समग्र आश्रम हरबर्टपुर , विकासनगर से देहरादून (लेन नंबर १३, मकान नंबर ३३२, आशा गेस्ट हाउस के पास , मोहित नगर) में दिनांक २९-१०-२००९ को सिफ्ट हो गया है | और आज बेबी डिम्पी (२.५ वर्ष डिले स्पीच और डिले गामक विकास, मोहित नगर देहरादून ) आज अपने मम्मी के साथ समग्र आश्रम में आयी | विजय (समग्र स्पीच थिरेपिस्ट ) ने स्क्रीनिंग किया व् डिम्पी के मम्मी को बताया कि डिम्पी को स्पीच थिरेपी की जरूरत है |डिम्पी अब समग्र में स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए सोमवार से आयेगी | डिम्पी के पापा टीचर है व् मम्मी करुणा बिहार (स्पेशल स्कूल ) से स्पेशल बच्चों की देख - भाल के लिए एक कोर्स कर रहीं है |डिम्पी का एक बड़ा भाई (९ वर्ष का ) है जो स्कूल में पढ़ाई कर रहा है |

सन्डे सपोर्ट ग्रुप २५ अक्टूबर

We met in Anugrah for about two hours: extempore speeches with stressors inbuilt. Some one who wanted to talk on "Uses of cow" was manoeuvred into talking about "India's Atomic program"! Another youngman was tricked into talking about pros/cons of sex education in school. S surprised everyone with his sudden unexpected fluency. He himself was openly surprised. A good audience can do amazing things to speakers. Also, we have finally created an atmospher where 'stammering is fine'. Then, we played a game involving asking questions. Many CWS find it difficult because all questions in Hindi start with a K sound.

Living with 'my story'

Vijay came with K this morning. K is a young student in a professional institution. Lives close by. He had already been shown some stammering videos- like the interview of Julia Irani. A certain softening of his attitude towards stammering had happened, because of that. But. Since he was to leave soon, there was not enough time for a gentle approach, so I stated bluntly: I stammer and I have stammered all my life. Surprised, he took the bait and began talking of his experinces: ragging, superficial friends, problem of giving attendance in the college, impending divorce of parents, and a constant feeling that "I have to live in this world so I must talk as they do.. and still, how can I ?".
K said a very significant thing suddenly: Till I saw those videos yesterday, I thought I alone stutter in the world..
But then, he had clear cut ideas as to what was wrong and what should be done. For example,he wants to just learn the "technique" and go away. His present academic downturn is because of certain teachers- he is clear about that. So, just to creat enough doubt, I asked him, what did he think was the cause of his stammering? Again, he was sure that it was because of lack of self confidence. But how much confidence or preparation do you need to answer your roll call in class? Could there be other reasons? Finally, he was open to other possibilities. I discussed "Neuro-physiological" model.
Many stammerers go for a reverse blaim game early in life. They hold themselves guilty for their stammering- instead of accepting it as a disease process beyond their control. This creates further emotional problems on top of the primary issues.
K has been taught bouncing and was given certain phone numbers of other PWS to practice bouncing with. Will he return? Difficult to say.

आज दिनांक २० अक्टूबर को इशु (डिले स्पीच के साथ स्वलीनता ) को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया गया |

अंशु

आज अंशु (उम्र २.५ वर्ष ,सेरेब्रल पाल्सी ) समग्र आश्रम में आया | अंशु समग्र आश्रम में दो महीने बाद आया |अंशु aअज के ५ महीने पहले स्पीच थिरेपी के लिए आया करता था तब अंशु की स्पीच नही थी | अंशु समग्र में महीने में सात या आठ बार आया करता था, और विजय अंशु की मम्मी को स्पीच थिरेपी सेशन में बैठाते थे व् स्पीच थिरेपी कैसे कराया जाता है अंशु की मम्मी को भी बताते थे, |अंशु की मम्मी ने आज बताया की मैं घर पर अंशु को स्पीच थिरेपी दिया करती थी | आज के दिन अंशु की स्पीच नार्मल के बराबर हो गई है |अंशु की फिजियोथिरेपी भी चल रही है | और अब अंशु बिना सहारे बैठने लगा है |इस चित्र में विजय अंशु को कागज़ पर स्क्रेचिंग करा रहे है | विजय ने अंशु की मम्मी को बताया की आप घर पर भी ये एक्सरसाइज कराया कीजिए |

सन्डे सेल्फ हेल्प ग्रुप

सन्डे सेल्फ हेल्प की मीटिंग में 7 से 8 लोंगो ने भाग लिया, जिसमे विनीत, अमानुद्दीन, परमानंद, गरिमा व् गरिमा की माता जी, सुशील, सचिन सर, निशु, ने भाग लिया, आज की मीटिंग में सभी को डा.तरून की एक वीडियो क्लिप दिखाया गया | इसके बाद सभी का एक- एक मिनट का रिकार्डिंग किया गया, तथा उसे सब लोंगो ने सुना तथा इसके बाद सभी लोंगो ने चार-चार स्पीच टूल को बताया व् स्पीच टूल का अभ्यास भी किया |

दीपावली

आज दिनांक १८ अक्टूबर को समग्र में दो बच्चे आए जिनको विजय ने प्लये थिरेपी करवाया (चित्र तीन में )|तथा दीपावली का पूजन करते अनिल जी चित्र दो में |देहरादून में (जहां समग्र सिफ्ट हो रहा है ) भी दीपावली के शुभ अवसर पर डा. प्रदीप की माता जी, पिता जी, पियूष सर, पलाश जी तथा अनिल जी,व् विजय ने लक्ष्मी पूजन किया |चित्र एक में
