Presentation by Canadian students

Four Canadian students from McMaster University Canada were here in Samagra for four weeks. During their stay they visited many places like Max Hospital, Indresh hospital, KKM, Budha temple, Harpartpur, Rishikesh, Pauri, Surkanda Devi temple,Dhanoulty, Devparyag and Akshardham Temple Delhi. Before  leaving for their destination they, gave a presentation and talked about their experience in India. Dr Satender, Dr. Nisha Gaira, Vandhna Verma, Mrs. Mamta Kahnduri Mrs Chandra and Mrs Suchitra were present as a gusts Samagra staff took very good care of them.

New stitching centre started in slum of Brahampuri Dehradun

19th May 2016
Samagra started a new cutting & tailoring training centre in a slum called Brahmpuri. This centre is being run in a Shiva temple of this area. 26 girls and women are participating in it. This program will last for two months in which they will be learning drafting cutting sewing and adaptations .We hope that by the end of this program trainees will be able to make garments confidently. Our Canadian gusts visited the centre and appreciated the work. Sweets were distributed to all the trainees.

Yajna program with Canadian students

Samagra organized a Yajna at Mrs. Chandra’s place who is a well wisher of Samagra. She is blessed with a grant daughter. Samagra staff, children and Canadian guests participated in Yajna. Everybody blessed to the new born baby. High tea was served by Mrs. Chandra’s family.
