Dewali Celebration on 18th October 2017

Beautiful Diwali celebration in Samagra! Samagra family organized many competitions like music chair, number gameand memory retention game. Children made Diwali decoration like bandanwar, rangli and decoration diyas. My father-in-law lit the first diya, each of us lit a diya afterwards.
            Samagra distributed sweets to the children and staff members, Ms. Vandana, my friend and a volunteer gifted sweets packages to the each staff members. My friend Dr. Nisha Gera was a special guest who has a kind heart for underprivileged section. Ever body enjoyed the evening.

Closing Program in Singhniwala Cutting & Tailoring Center

On 3rd October Samagra concluded a two and half months cutting & tailoring program in Singhniwala village. It is a remote village, one kilometer far from the main road.
25 girls & women learnt the drafting, cutting and sewing of the ladies and children garments. The trainees displayed their work and organized a cultural program. Around 10 girls were illiterate, so they were taught to read the numbers and measuring table. Mrs. Beena Pokhriyal was the tailoring teacher, she did good job.
Samagra donated one sewing machine to the center and distributed sweets.
Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal motivated them to be self dependent and explained about the govt. schemes for women empowerment.

Gandhi Jaynti 2 October

2nd October this program was consigned by one of our class 6th student Preeti. She organized very well and children enjoyed.  Poems, Speeches and dances it was concluded with the distributed sweets.
