Christmas was celebrated in Samagra on 24th December.

The festival of Christmas was celebrated with great joy. Children studying in Samagar and girls learning tailoring also danced beautifully on different songs. The kids put up all the Christmas decorations, Manish explained why Christmas is celebrated and Rishabh being Santa distributed toffees to all the kids. At the end of the program everyone was treated to sweets and snacks party, everyone was very happy.

Christmas Celebration with Pratiksha Gupta's Friends

Some friends of our volunteer Pratiksha Gupta, who is teaching computers to the children of Samagra, came to Samagra on 22nd December and distributed lots of Christmas gifts, sweets, soft drinks and hot breakfast to the children. Jagrut, Piyush Kumar, Anuj and Ruchi who are friends of Pratiksha enjoyed a lot with the kids. All the children enjoyed dance, songs and games with Senta.

Children’s Day Celebration

A beautiful program was organized on Children's Day in the whole, these photos are enough to tell how much the children enjoyed it. Various competitions were organized, dance, fun, prizes and pastries were distributed to all by Hema Madam.

In Samagra, for the last two months, with the help of Lions Club (West) Dehradun, despite being on the margins of the society, there is an effort by Samagra to empower these girls and women by teaching them the skill of tailoring. 12th November Astha’s Birthday Celebration

November 12 was the birthday of Mrs. Nisha Uniyal's promising engineer daughter Aastha. They celebrated this special day with the children of Samagra's Children Tailoring Program. The Samagra family wishes dear Aastha a healthy, happy and long life.

3Rd November 2022, Mrs. Madhavi voluntarily started teaching children of science subjects in Samagra

Happy to announce that we are blessed to have one more volunteer, Mrs. Madhvi to teach science subjects to class 7th and 8th. She is a highly qualified modest lady who has done her MSC in pharmaceutical chemistry, B.ED and worked in a renowned Cancer institue for 3 years as a Research assistant
