The Pilgrimage (21st Feb- 11th March'11)

The group ‘Pilgrimage’ consisting of 7 members and founder Trustee Dr. Pradeep Kumar which arrived on 21st Feb’11 stayed at Samagra, Dehradun. They participated in various activities carried out by Samagra India and also attended a few body and mind meditation retreats at SIDH, Rishikesh and BMA (Bhubneshwari Mahila Ashram, Devprayag).

Visit to Tuition Center Fatehpur(10th March'11) :





The guests visited to the tuition center at Fatehpur/Herbertpur, located 35Kms from dehradun. There are 30 students being helped by Mrs. Kajal Gupta for their school homework. The children organized cultural events which was followed by gifts distribution and refreshments.

Visit to Ashoka’s Edict


The guests visited ashoka’s edict situated at Kalsi with Mrs. Suchitra Agrawal. They also went to Sadhna Kendra Ashram at Dumait, located near Yamuna valley.

Holi Celebrations(9th March'11)



Holi celebration was organized for the canadian guests at Mrs. Beena Joshi’s (a samagra trustee)place. Everybody enjoyed raag songs and dance along with a sumptuous feast.

A visit to Adhoiwala tuition program




A tuition program had been launched on 6th Dec’10 for children of labours working in the limestone furnace and rag pickers. Currently 30 students are being tutored by Miss Suman Yadav. Ms. Brenda distributed gifts to the children and refreshments were served.

Adhoiwala Free sewing training program (6th dec’10-4th March’11)




The program mentoring 28 ladies, co-ordinated by Mrs. Sarla Yadav and place given by Mrs. Suman Yadav, was concluded in the presence of Canadian guests, founder trustee Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Samagra trustee Mrs. Suchitra Agrawal and field co-ordinators Mrs. Radha, Mrs. Manju and Mrs. Rajkumari. The function was followed by refreshments.

Devrishi Colony Sewing Training Program (4th March'11)




The canadian guests along with founder trustee Dr. Pradeep Kumar concluded the free sewing training program started on 10 Dec'10. 23 ladies were trained by the program co-ordinated by Mrs. Suman. Certificates and sewing kits were distributed followed by refreshments.
