These beautiful hand painted designs
are called AIPPENS and these Aippens belong to the Kumaun region of Uttarakhand.
This is a heritage art and every shape denotes some specific god or religious
activity.
These
Aippens are special because they are made free hand. No tracing, screen or
stencil is being used. Samagra is trying to preserve and spread awareness
through training programs run by our expert painter Geets.
