On 3rd October Samagra
concluded a two and half months cutting & tailoring program in Singhniwala
village. It is a remote village, one kilometer far from the main road.
25 girls & women learnt the
drafting, cutting and sewing of the ladies and children garments. The trainees
displayed their work and organized a cultural program. Around 10 girls were illiterate,
so they were taught to read the numbers and measuring table. Mrs. Beena
Pokhriyal was the tailoring teacher, she did good job.
Samagra donated one sewing machine to
the center and distributed sweets.
Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal motivated them
to be self dependent and explained about the govt. schemes for women
