Samagra is running a basic English learning programme for underprivileged girls, studying at government schools. This programme is being run in collaboration with DSSS (Deserving Students Support Society), Vasant Vihar, which has been working for the betterment of the underprivileged girls of government schools for many years. The programme consists of 65 students divided into 2 batches. Ms. Vandana who is a senior teacher at Guru Nanak Public School, Dehradun and Mrs. Neetu Singh who runs her own pre-school in Premnagar, Dehradun have volunteered to teach these girls. Stationery for this programme was distributed to all students by DSSS. In the photos below Ms. Vandana can be seen instructing her students about the basics of the English language.
