Happy World Earth Day Celebration

Happy world earth day! It was a wonderful celebration. Samagra always try to make aware it’s children about our responsibilities towards our planet. Today, children and our volunteers participated in an interactive session. We discussed about water conservation, global warming and plantation of the trees. Children planted saplings in DIY planters. Little music, dance and poems entertained us. It was concluded with High tea.

13th April, Counseling Session with Savita Thapliyal

Samagar is pleased to inform that Mrs. Savita Thapliyal, who is an Educational Counselor by profession. Her special area is helping adolescent children to adjust mentally and socially with physical development. Mrs. Thapliyal has done B.Ed. in Special Education and MD in Social Work. Apart from working for 15 years at Latika Roy Foundation, Dehradun, she has counseling experience with adolescent children at Aasra Trust, Dehradun. 27th March 2023, Beautician Inauguration:

2 Month beautician training program was inaugurated in Samagra by lighting a lamp by Mrs. Ranu Bisht, owner of Samay Sakshya Prakashan. Pooja, Sakshi, Vanshika, Neelu and Nandini gave beautiful dance performances. Ranu Bisht ji is the first woman to run a printing press from Uttarakhand and has a fearless, hardworking, confident personality. A total of 23 girls who either work in homes or help their mothers in Kothi work along with school are taking advantage of the program. An integral part of the whole, my co-friends handled the program very well. Thanks to Mrs. Mamta Khanduri, Sonal Singhal, Namita Mamgai, Sunita Jain, Seema Kukreti, Dr. Nisha Gera, Vandana, Hema Mehta, Tamanna and Sushila!
