20th August Activities Day

On activities day, it was fun kids, all the kids were looking very cute in the T-shirts gifted by Mamta Mam. Hema Ma'am taught to debate, Sonal Singhal practiced reading English and E. Pratiksha took computer classes. As usual, Tika Ram Bhatt distributed chocolates to all the children at the end of the class.

15th August Celebration on Samagra

The 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence was celebrated with great pomp. Children gave performances one after the other, filled with patriotism. Anamika Butola conducted the proceedings. The famous poet Mrs. Basanti Mathpal recited a poem dedicated to the nation. Mrs. Namita Mamgai specially participated. Mamta Khanduri, who is volunteering to teach English, distributed beautiful T-shirts with the Samagra logo to 45 students studying in Samagra. Laddu, barfi and biscuits were distributed to the children. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Sonal, Savita Thapliyal, Sunita Jain, Neetu, Nisha, Vandana, Hema, Aarti, Sushila and Tikaram Bhatt for whose cooperation program was completed successfully.

11th of August, E. Pratiksha’s birthday celebrated

Our favorite E. Pratiksha Gupta threw a grand birthday party for the Samagra family. First the cake was cut and everyone sang the birthday song. After that the children performed one after the other Jaunsari, Garhwali, film and folk songs and dances. The entire staff also performed Garhwali dance with Pratiksha. Pratiksha distributed samosas, cakes, chips and chocolates to all the children and gifted pencil boxes and stationery as return gifts. Children learning computers gifted beautiful cards to their sister. We all spent this evening with great joy.

15th July was Jivasu’s father’s 89th birthday.

Samagra celebrated it with a great enthusiasm we prayed and chanted some Vedic mantras for his healthy long life. A beautiful handmade card was gifted to Dadaji by the children. Dadaji gifted stationary & pair of socks to all the 44 children. It was concluded with delicious snacks party.

21st June Yoga Day Celebration at Samagra

Samagra children, staff and volunteers, attended a Yoga session on 21sth June 2022 at Samagra premises. Mrs. Hema Mehta Lead the session. One of our volunteer Vijeta arranged snack pkts for all.

On the fourth day of World Environment day in Samagra

On the fourth day of World Environment day in Samagra, the last day of the series. This year's theme for today's session was one on Earth. Today's special guest was Advocate Renu D. Singh. You are a well known female activist of the city. Who are working vocally on environment to women's atrocities and rights, she stressed on the participation of all the countries of the world to fulfill the responsibility towards our earth in front of the total 65 people along with the children studying in the Samagra. Delivered interesting lectures on the rights of girls and women, the program started with beautiful Ganesh Vandana by Mansi and Meenakshi of Samagra. Riddhima and Nidhi presented a beautiful dholna dance. Through a play, the children of Samagra compared the 50-year-old green earth and the developed earth of today and captivated everyone's mind. The children shared their thoughts about making the earth green again through beautiful charts, posters and models. Mrs. Savita Thapliyal told the importance of education in environmental protection. Suchitra Aggarwal, Managing Trustee of Samagra told that how children from class 1st to 10th are motivated to fulfill their responsibility towards their land and nation along with their studies.
