Samagra Celebrated Children's Day

Dipawali Celebration with Pilgrims, Children and Staff

Samagra celebrated Dipawali with great sprit on 29^th October. Samagra children, staff, a guest couple from America and many others like Jivasu, Dr. Nisha Gera, Miss Vandana Mr. and Mrs. Piyush Kumar and Dada ji were also present.

            First of all every one lit a lamp (Diya) to give their respect to Martyars who laid their life on borders for their country.

            Dada ji performed puja, everybody sang Luxmi Arti and sweets were distributed.

Samagra children took a oath to save our environment so they said bye to fire-works. 

 

Dr. Neha's husband's birthday celebration

 Dr. Neha one of our valuable volunteer celebrated her husband’s (Shree Pankaj Behl) birthday with Samagra children and staff.

            It was a gala party organized by the Behl family Dr. Neha, her husband, Samagra children and staff danced on bolywood numbers. Cake cutting ceremony was performed by Pankaj and family. A lot of gifts like pencil boxes, umbrellas and shawls were distributed to the children according their needs.

            Samagra presented a  gift and a greeting card as a token.

Yajna has been held on 21st October.

Mrs.  Beena Joshi one of the Trustee of Samagra hosted a Yajna in Samagra premises on 21^st October it was dedicated to her late brother Gyanesh who left for his untimely demise 9 years.

Samagra staff, children  guests participated in this Yajna with great enthusiasm. Shree Ved Vashu Sahstri was the Brama of this Yajna. Mrs. Joshi and her husband distributed prasadam to all the participants.

Samagra Collected Many stuff for Goonj Ogranization

2-8 October ( Dan Utsav) week was declared by Goonj. Samagra voluntarily made its premises as one of the collection centre and gave good publicity. Lot of people from our area and from distant colonies gave lot of stuff for the cause. Miss Vatsala was the incharge of Dehradun did a great job.

            Samagra was able to collect around 50 packets having cloth ( cotton and woolen), electronic items, wool, utensils, toys etc. One louder full of these packets were sent to main collection centre.

            Samagra is greatful to all the donors and respect them for their participation.

Death Anniversary on 8th October

The fourth death anniversary of Ma Sharda Devi was organized at Samagra.

Yajna was held and Shree Ved Vasu Shastri performed Yajna and all prayed for the peace of the departed soul.

            A kit containing towel , tooth brush, tooth paste, soap etc were given to all the Samagra children numbering about 60.

            A bhoj was organized for all the children, staff members and a few invitees.
