One of our precious field coordinator Mrs. Radha celebrated her daughter Kriti and son Moit’s birthday in the Samagra premises.

Kriti, her daughter is a Physiotherapist and she is special for us because Samagra guided and helped during her studies.

We concluded the first phase of our project   ‘Save Earth’. Children were briefed last week to collect seeds of any fruit that they eat, dry them and bring to Samagra. Once our seed bank was filled up, we organized the making of balls. The children were highly excited and eager to participate. The seed balls are now drying. In the coming week the children will be taken for a nature walk by the side of some river for throwing the balls in appropriate areas where we pray at least some seeds will grow into trees.

Women's Protection and Rehabilitation of Women Victims of Violence. Role of non Government Organizations and Government.

One day Seminar was organized at Chief Minister's house. Prominent personalities from different organizations and government officials participated in it and discussed the topic. It was fruitful day./ Mrs. Suchitra Agrawal, managing trustee Samagra was invited and honoured by the organizers.

15th July 2019- 85th Birth Day celebration of Shri Suresh Chandra

Shri Chandra completed his 85^th year. SAMAGRA celebrated his birth day with great zeal. All the staff members, students and a number of invitees participated in the celebrations. Havan was performed followed by cake-cutting and feast. Shri Chandra was presented with flowers and some small gifts.

All wished him an active, healthy and long life. 

14th July 2019 – Samman of Suresh Chandra by Bharat Vikas Parishad Drone Branch Dehradun

Shri Suresh Chandra is member of Bharat Vikas Parishad for the last 27 years. He has served the organization in various capacities. He was the president of Ghaziabad main branch in the year !995-96, was the national convener of Vikas Samarpit Yojana for three years, edited Parishad’s  monthly magazine  NITI for about ten years, and founded and edited the quarterly magazine Gyan Prabha for about eight years. He himself has written 8 books, mainly on the issues of senior citizens and is still writing articles in various magazines.

For all these services and activities the Drone branch of BVP –DDN honored him on 14-7-2017 and presented a Man Patra and scarf.
