This interesting pictures were taken by T.R. Bhatt when few children out of 19 who come from a nearby slum were making it sum that they should look good, organized like other children of Samagra. There is no electricity, water and toilets in their living area.

Samagra Trust was running a tailoring training course in Shiv Mandir at Brahampuri

Samagra Trust was running a tailoring training course in Shiv Mandir at Brahampuri. The duration of the course was two months and 26 girls and women participated in it. Its concluding session was held at Samagra office in Vasant Vihar Enclave on 27the July 2016. Shri Rajendra Singh G.M. Uttrakhand Udyog Kendra was the chief guest and 7 medical students from Canada were the special guests.
            The trainees exhibited the garments and other articles stitched by them Smt. Suchitra Agrawal awarded stitching kits and certificates to the trainees.
 The trust, so far has trained 1013 girls and women from weaker section of the society in various trades at its different training centers.

20th July was Palash’s birthday





20th July was Palash’s birthday. He is an engineer and younger son of Mrs. Suchitra Agrwal. He is in Bangalore. Mrs. Suchitra celebrated the day with Samagra children (60 in numbers) and staff members.  Canadian guests were also present. She threw a party children and staff danced on Bolly wood tunes. Everybody enjoyed it.

On 2nd July Samagra Organized a Summer Camp

Samagra, a voluntary organization situated at Vasant Vihar Dehradun, organized a summer camp for the needy children in its premises. In the camp the children were trained in drawing, painting, dance, drama, music and some other handicrafts. 60 children participated in the camp.
            The concluding session of the camp was organized on 2/1/216. It may be remembered that the Samagra is running a stitching center in Brahampuri- a slum area of Dehradun. So far the organization has trained 1180 poor women in various employment-oriented crafts.
              Shri  P. C. Agrawal the president of Cheshire home, along with Mrs. Agrawal, was the chief guest at the function. Our staff members Manju, Radha,Hema, Sushila, Sonika, Tika Ram etc. besides some guests were also present.
