15th August Independence Day

                                                            

Samagra celebrated Independence day in Samagra premises. Children and staff of Samagra gave performances. Everybody enjoyed speech, dances,poem and short play. Dr. Sudha Mishra Yoga expert, Mrs.Parmila Arya delivered speech. Mrs. Suchitra told about the history of freedom struggle. Mrs. Hema Mehta hosted the party to celebrates her husband’s new tenure in Merchant Navy. Samagra family and guests wished good luck to her family.

                                                                 

New beautician program started in Smith Nagar

Samagra is running a new beautician training centre in Smith Nagar village in Prem Nagar area in Dehradun. 25 girls and women from under privileged section are selected for this training. All the trainees are taking keen interest. In this picture, Eye brow threading practice session is running b;y Mrs. Kavita, an experienced beautician of this area. Mrs. Neetu Singh has obliged us to offer her house for training.

Monthly Yajna performed with Dolly Dabral

The monthly Yajna was performed in Samagra on 3^rd August. Mrs. Dolly Dabral was special invitee. This Yajna was concluded with prayers for universal health and happiness. Samagra’ children sang a Bhajan. Prasadam was distributed to all.

 

With governemt person

On 1^st August Samagra organized orientation program for the trainees who took training in personal grooming, cutting and tailoring and computer (basic). Shree S.S. Negi from Directorate of District industries obliged us to come to update the trainees about government policies to make girls and women self-supporting by self employment. He told about loan system for different trades, subsidies and now to make project to get govt. grants. Shree Negi assured us to take personal interest if candidates come through Samagra. He was very much impressed by Samagra’s work for the under privileged section.
