Suchitra Agarwal's birthday celebrating.

29^th January was my birth day and as usual, I was planning to throw a surprise party for my staff and underprivileged children who come for after school tuitions. I brought clip-boards for them as I found it is needed.

            But my friends, staff and children gave me a pleasant surprise to organize a birthday party for me. I was really emotional to see their affection. I am great ful to Dr. Neha, Dr. Beena, Deepti, my staff (my power zone) Manj,  Radha,  Hema, Sonika and  T.R.Bhatt . It was a gala party and was enjoyed by everybody.  Thanks to all.

 

Cutting & Tailoring program runing in Shastri Nagar slum

                                         28^th January Mrs. Manju  (incharge –women income generation program )   visited cutting and tailoring centre running in Shastri Nagar slum.  28 girls and women are learning this skill of stitching for last two months.  All are taking keen interest in cutting & stitching.

 

Samagra Celebrating Republic Day

26^th January is our 66^th Republic day. Samagra celebrated it with great enthusiasm.  Children presented an excellent cultural program.

Suchitra told the importance of the day. Mrs. Jasmeet ,a boutique owner graced the occasion with her daughter who is an airhostess  in Air India. She distributed branded under garments to Samagra children. It was concluded with high tea and refreshments to the children and the guests present.

Interest free loan by Rotary Club (W)

There is good news for Samagra as more and more girls and women trained by us are encouraged to start  their own Tailoring centre or Boutiques. In this connection Samagra facilitated one of its trainee Mrs. Santosh Kunwar to get interest free loan from Rotary club (W). Club granted sum of Rs. 20000-00 ( Twenty thousands)for twenty two months on easy installment.

9th Jaunaury 2015 ( woolen cap distribution)

Today Dr. Neha and Pankaj Bahel celebrated the birth of their first child 'Pehul' with Samagra children.  Dr. Neha is a great inspiration to Samagra as time to time she and her husband lone to spend time with Samagra children. They distributed woolen caps and sweets all the children. We wish good health and long life to dear 'Pehul' and parents.

New year celebrations at Samagra

Samagra welcome new year with organizing a Yajna at Samagra premises. Everybody got blessings by the priest Shri Ved Vasu Shastri. Children got gifts and snacks by Samagra and other like minded volunteers. Samagra children recited  bhajans and presented cultural program.
