78th Independence Day Celebration

Congratulations to all of you for the success of the Independence Day celebrations on 15th August.  All my friends, children, Hema Madam's dedication in getting the children to prepare the cultural program, Mrs. Sonal  Singhal's preparation of a short play in English, everyone liked it. Tika Ram Sushila looked after other arrangements, made this program well organized.

3 of our children got 63% marks in 10th this year, they were felicitated and given gifts and promised that we will help them in every possible way to fulfill their dream of becoming an engineer. 6 of our children came first or second in their previous class, they were given prizes and my aunt (Mrs. Raj Gupta) who lives in Delhi, who appreciates me a lot, arranged T-shirts with the logo of Samagra for all 40 children. Mrs. Anita Agnihotri, who after serving for 25 years in Ann Marry School is now teaching English to the children of Samagra as a voluntary teacher, was my special guest. That brave lady, after the martyrdom of her husband for the country, supported her son, who was a very young child at that time, in his decision to join the Indian Army. Presently he is stationed at the border to keep us safe in these horrific conditions. I thank him heartily and we all pray for his long life. We have reached here only because of the unconditional support and all kinds of support of my friends.
