October is celebrated as 'Seva Diwas' with special events in Samagra.
Shri Ved
Vasu Shastri conducted a beautiful Yagya on the death anniversary of my late
mother-in-law, Smt. Sharda Devi. Thereafter, keeping in view the needs of all
the children, slippers were distributed to 40 children and apart from the
Samagra family, some other needy children were also provided food in the form
of prasad.
Teachers' Day on 5th September was very special in Samagra. Because the entire program, from its outline to its presentations, was done by the children. This is the aim of Samagra that girls should gain direction in life by understanding their talent with self-confidence and self-respect along with studies. Samagra thanked all the well-wishers by giving them plants. A beautiful party was organized for the children. Children honored their teachers by making beautiful cards.

Madam's dedication in getting the children to prepare the cultural program,
Mrs. Sonal Singhal's preparation of a
short play in English, everyone liked it. Tika Ram Sushila looked after other
arrangements, made this program well organized.

Ritu and her daughter Riddhima made the day of the children of Samagra special.
Doctor
Ritu is a senior dentist in a government hospital.
On World
Dental Safety Day, she examined all the children of Samagra, gave a lecture on
cleaning of teeth, safety and diseases and distributed dental kits. Her
daughter Riddhima also came along. Perhaps the values of social awareness are
learnt from parents only.
Riddhima
expressed her desire to celebrate her birthday with the children of Samagra.
First of
all, she wished them a long and healthy life through some Vedic mantras. Then
Riddhima cut a delicious eggless cake. The children sang the birthday song.
While leaving, she also distributed attractive return gifts to all the children.
She gave a
card made by the children of Samagra with lots of best wishes.

6 students
of Petroleum University, who are second year students of Engineering in
Computer Science, invited the children, staff and volunteers of Samagra on the
last day of completion of social internship of last two months (1 June 2024 to
31 July 2024) and got beautiful presentations done from the children and gifted
chocolate stationery.
On this
occasion, he described the time spent in Samagra as memorable. The children who
studied with them for 2 months thanked them.
2 Month’s Social Internship Program for 6 students from UPES University was concluded on 31st July 2024.Looking happy after getting a certificate of completion. Samagra wishes them a happy and bright future.
On 15th July, Babaji's 91st birthday was celebrated with the children of Samagra. Everyone prayed for his health and long life through Gayatri Mantra and distributed sweets and samosas to everyone.
Like every year, this year too, International Yoga Day was organized in Samagra. Children and volunteers who came to Samagra did yoga Mrs. Savita Thapliyal gave information to the children about different poses and told the importance of yoga in our life.
